# Settings and colors

View how to customize the general settings and colors for the announcement bar in Pipeline:

### General settings

Text size controls how large the text is within the announcement bar.&#x20;

#### Layout

Choose between the animation styles for the announcement bar.&#x20;

#### Slider

Slider fades the current message out and fades in a new message when multiple messages are enabled. The Autoplay speed setting determines when messages rotate.

#### Marquee

Marquee option will auto-scroll messages across the browser or device width.

#### Section spacing

Provides padding to the top and bottom of the announcement bar. This helps you make the bar larger in size or tighter.&#x20;
